Graphical effects that can be achieved with specialized optical devices. Nowadays implemented in software.
It is a mapping from movie to a single still image. Mostly called: ‘slit-scan photography’
Time Distortion
Mapping from movie to a movie with partial time delay or slit-scan. Sometimes called: ‘Animated slit-scan movies’.
